King/Palmer Family

June 28, 2009

I photographed Daniel, a sweet 6 month old a few months ago now – and I was so excited to get the request for a family session. So there he was with his Mummy and Daddy and gorgeous big sister.

Here he is in all seriousness, with those stunning eyes, smooshy cheeks and precious widdle lips.

And here is his sister, Jess, in all seriousness - wishing that stupid lady with the camera would just leave her alone!  :OP  No, me being serious now, she was a complete photogenic rockstar !

Hope you like them Cara, I’ll have more sneak peek photos of the family grace my blog in the next couple of days.

A Secret Surprise

June 22, 2009

I can finally post this session I had 3 weeks ago. Why am I so late in updating? Well, because it was a surprise to the parents that’s why – and apart from needing to keep it a secret, I also needed their permission to show photos of their children.

So a lovely friend of mine had lost her husband recently and this wonderful couple has been a major support for her during this time of grief. So to say thankyou, she sent them on their merry way and watched their 3 daughters for the day. In their eyes, this was the thankyou … but unbenowns to them a sneaky plan was in store.

I showed up and took photos of these adorable girls, a 3 year old and 14 month old twins.

After the session I showed the photos to my friend and she chose some photos for print – REALLY BIG ones. (see two posts below for examples of these prints). Once received she gathered this lovely supportive couple around to her place for dinner and presented them with their “thankyou” gift. I’m happy to report they loved it!

And so here are some photos from the sneaky squirrel session!! Mwahahaha!

Blue-Eyed Brothers

June 20, 2009

On Thursday, I met 3 sweet boys … all with beautiful big blue eyes.

I had great fun, trying for more of a candid and relaxed session. Their Mum and I wanted to capture their individual personalities – which, with just a snap of the shutter, is more difficult than I thought. But … I had good fun trying!

I hope I achieved this goal for you Megan, here’s your sneak peek.

A gorgeous family

June 14, 2009
I met up with Peta and her family this weekend. She has two of the most well behaved little men I have ever met. They are gorgeous, sweet, delightful and to top it off very photogenic!

The day was dreary and wet, and the showers never ceased – but they kept going like troopers!

Here is a sneak peek, hope you like them Peta!
how romantic!

the whole happy family.

The Hughes Family

June 10, 2009

My friend Kirsty, put her kids hands up for my model call for 6-14 year olds. I had the most fun photographing my first child session, that weren’t toddlers. They were a bit hesitant at first, we had to coerce them out the door, but once they got into the swing of things – boy did they let loose. Sooo much fun, snapping them as they did poses like they were straight from a magazine.

Here are a few of the gorgeous duo, Josh and Ella … and their little brother Patty. Awww.

simply stunning!!
