Archive for April, 2010

I photographed this gorgeous bunch in Febraury, you may remember a sneak peek photo I posted, they got this one mounted as a 16X24 for their new living room wall.

You may have noticed the words “new living room wall” in that last sentence, well that is because they have just moved houses … and not just inter-suburb … interstate! Yikes. Big move.

Which is why they booked a last minute photo shoot in their backyard. YAY! Isn’t that what my job is all about? Capturing memories for people to have forever. Loooove it.

So here is a sneak peek at the boys playing with friends and family in their backyard for one of the last times. *pass the tissues please*

Week 16

April 23, 2010

Up to date this time!! Are you proud of me? I am. Ha!

I can’t believe how fast a year has gone, just like that.

I photographed little Emma when she was just a teeny newborn over a year ago, this is what she was like back then … just a little camera shy …

I photographed her again at 6 weeks old … starting to warm up to the camera …

And then again at 12 weeks old … she’s mesmerised and mesmerising …

Now look at her, all of 12 months with the brightest widest eyes and cutest toothy grin you ever did see.

Then we went outside for a little play.

I’m also finding it a little amusing, at how often I changed my watermark over the year!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Candice’s maternity. Click here to view the session.

Now I have the pleasure of introducing you all to Chelsea Grace, all 4 days old of her. Apart from the actual photographing part, my favourite thing to do with a newborn session is have big cuddles till bub falls to sleep. Bliss!

So I am reeeeeally sorry for being so slack with posting my photos of the day each week, a few of you have asked me about them, so I’ve kicked myself up the rear and uploaded them. Enjoy a sneak peek into the latest 3 week of my life! :O)

I can’t believe you made it this far, that was a serious number of photos right there!

Until next week …

How humbled was I when I was asked to photograph couple Seleste and Ady on their wedding anniversary. I mean, it’s a day when you share your love together and alone. But then, what better way to celebrate your anniversary than capturing it, that moment, this time – RIGHT NOW??

Happy Anniversary guys, I hope the next 6 years bring you even more joy and happiness together.

We even got the rest of the family in on the action, gorgeous dogs – Flynn and Hannah!

After the couple session was over, Seleste and I had a little bit of fun. Dressed up in a full country housewife get up (hair rollers, apron, gumboots – you know, the usual) we set about causing some mischief.

Well … as promised here are some more images from the session I had on the beach last weekend. I just love all of these photos. I think it’s mainly the love within the family – oh and the cuteness of little Ava’s face.

Today’s sneak peek is for the Clark family … or in Zoolanders words the “ridiculously good looking family”.

Beautiful Becky and Handsome Heath made one hellova gorgeous girl with Ava. Seriously.

We met down at Sandy Bay Beach and I just had a blast watching and snapping them interacting with each other. A bond so strong, the camera cannot deny. I just love how Becky and Heath are so totally wrapped up in their sweet little cheeky daughter. And she is worth being wrapped up over.

Here’s their session preview, I hope you seriously enjoy.

Because I loved this session so much, this sneak peek isn’t over … more coming soon. So watch this space!

I am a bit late sharing this sneak peek, but as the saying goes better late than never.

On a sweet little property in the gorgeous Huon Valley (I might be a bit bias with my opinions of this neck of the woods … hehehe) a family reunion was taking place.

The lovely Wendy and her children’s families travelled afar to spent Easter together, the whole 13 of them.

All the kidlets, full of kiddy goodness.

The whole brood.

I love the unscripted moments best, the smallest look creates the biggest moments. The smallest glance, creates the biggest connection.
