Meet the sweet faces of this full of personality big sister and her absolutely adorable newborn sister. (P.S. This newborn is almost one! That’s how far behind in blogging I am – imagine how many awesome sessions I still have yet to share! TONS!)
As far as friends go, Amber is one of my favourites. She’s funny, kind and an inspiration as a mother. She has TWINS for goodness sake, and parents them and her older two children with grace and skill, how can that not be inspirational. Especially considering I struggle with raising only two fiesty children of my own. But this is not about me, it’s about her and the honour she bestowed upon me a year ago. She asked me to photograph her twins, in their hours old, fresh as a daisy, cute as a button, dry skinned, muslin beanied state.
I’d like to wish those precious twins, Miles and Stella a very happy first birthday, and in rememberance of their once small but ever so incredibly huge existence – here are the photos from their BIRTH day.
There’s nothing like a fluffy pink tutu to make two adorable sisters shine brighter. Seriously, how gorgeous are they already? Add the tutu’s to the mix and it’s cuteness overload!
This proves how slack I am too, this session was held almost a year ago. But I’m determined to keep sharing all the beautiful sessions I’ve had, better late than never.
What has the title got to do with these photos? I hear you ask. Everything, I say.
It’s how you get genuine reactions from children, simply talk about the things they love.
I did have a head start with these kiddos though, I’ve photographed them before. Repeat clients are awesome. You seriously have no idea how happy it makes me when people I have previously photographed, ask me to do it again. I guess it means I’m doing something right. Sure it’s nice to know that they like what I do for them but it’s also the biggest buzz for me to watch their children grow and develop bigger personalities for themselves.
Click here to see the Thomas family a few years ago, they’ve grown along with my photography! Ha, win win!
I photographed Miss Emma over three years ago now, and here I am just in time for her brother’s second birthday. How did that happen so quick??
I photographed this lovely family to celebrate Aurelia’s first birthday – then once again a year later we did the same thing for her 2nd birthday. What a fun tradition! She has grown so much, but still has those stunning eyes and squishable cheeks.
