Cake = Demolished : Hobart Child Photographer

I met Sally in Primary School, almost immediately we became best friends. She was everything I was too scared to be … confident, funny, outgoing, friendly. She was the first friend that gave me the freedom to be myself, who made me comfortable without any judgements. She taught me how to be a good friend to others in the same way.

To this day the presence she had in my life during those School days, will always stay close to my heart. So when she asked me to photograph her daughter for her 2nd birthday, I was thrilled.

And what a complete sweetheart little Emma is. The way her eyes twinkle when she smiles is sooo contagious. I’m willing to bet she is going to grow up to be just as awesome as her Mummy.

Love in New Life : Hobart Newborn Photographer

I sincerly apologise for my lack of blog posts these last few weeks. We have recently moved house and I’ve only just now had a chance to sit down and catch up on things. It’s been a massive big few weeks let me tell you that much, I get exhausted just thinking back on it. Phew.

A few weeks ago I met gorgeous little Camila, at her fresh age of 2 weeks. Everybody say Naaaawwwww. She is just simply beautiful and you can see where her good looks come from, check out her amazing Mummy. Who, by the way, along with Daddy are doing the most wonderful job with her already. I just love it how parents are soooo in-love with their babies, such an incredible feeling for me to see the new bond develop in full force so often.

Without any more chatter from me and my soft mooshy heart, here is Camila and her proud parents.

Sweet Little Jayden

I had been waiting for this widdle baby to be born for ages. His lovely Mummy booked in for photos way back when she was in the early stages of her pregnancy!

Photographing newborns is one of the highlights of my job. The time that they stay this tiny and precious is sooo short, I find it sooo humbling to capture this quick phase in a child’s life, photos to be remembered and cherished forever. *sigh … gush …* No I’m not clucky, I swear!

Without further ado and hopeless ramblings from me, here he is just one week old.

Now I have the pleasure of introducing you all to Chelsea Grace, all 4 days old of her. Apart from the actual photographing part, my favourite thing to do with a newborn session is have big cuddles till bub falls to sleep. Bliss!

Double the Celebration

Today’s photosession had many meanings for me. It commemorated an exact year since I started port folio building.

My very first photo session was with Harrison, at only a few days old. Here is a photo from that session: sweet yawn.

So in a rather poetic circle, how awesome was it that now a whole year later my very last port folio building session is with the same little man. Who is having a celebration of his own, of course, his 1st Birthday. And what does that mean in my world? Cake Smash time.
